Adventure Host

Part-Time | Duluth, MN

The Adventure Host at Zenith Basecamp will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the entire property, assisting with administrative tasks, and providing excellent customer service. In this role, you will ensure that our hostel is always spotless and that guests have a seamless and enjoyable experience. You will also be available to respond to guest inquiries after hours as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Premises Cleaning: Maintain the cleanliness of common areas, kitchens, restrooms, hallways, and other spaces to ensure they are spotless and welcoming.
• Room Cleaning: Regularly clean guest rooms, change linens, clean bathrooms, and restock amenities, ensuring all rooms meet our high standards.
• General Housekeeping Duties: Perform routine cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and window cleaning throughout the property.
• Administrative Duties: Assist with reception responsibilities such as check-ins, check-outs, answering guest inquiries, and managing reservations.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional hospitality by greeting guests, addressing concerns, and offering local information to enhance their stay.
• On-Call Support (Incentive Program): Be available to respond to guest inquiries via phone or text after hours.
• Inventory & Supplies Management: Ensure that all cleaning supplies and guest amenities are fully stocked and request additional supplies as needed.
• Support for Hostel Events: Occasionally assist with the planning and execution of hostel events to create memorable experiences for guests.
• Other Duties: Perform other tasks as needed to support the smooth running of Zenith Basecamp.

Qualifications:

• Experience in hospitality, housekeeping, or customer service is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail, especially regarding cleanliness and organization.
• Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly and approachable with a passion for delivering great customer experiences.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable with being on-call for after-hours guest inquiries.
